After the contract

Following the training contract, if you are selected to stay with the firm, you will have different responsibilities and challenges to that of a trainee.

Christopher Thomas, one of our NQ (newly qualified) solicitors, talks about the differences between your work, responsibility and appraisal system once you finish your training contract and become an NQ compared to when you are a trainee.

We're hoping that you'll become a part of the firm for more than just your training period because at Field Fisher Waterhouse, when we recruit trainees, we're looking for future partners of the firm. We even came third in a recent survey for City firms who have the highest number of partners who trained at the firm.
