Support network

In every seat you will have a supervisor who is either a Senior Associate or Partner who is well-trained in how to be a trainee supervisor (please click here to see the SRA training guidance). Your supervisor will provide you with appropriate level work and they will offer you support and guidance. They will be responsible for conducting your end of seat appraisals and will check your trainee diary, which you need to update every week.

You are also assigned a “buddy” who will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) - they have been in your position not long ago so they are the ones to ask all the ‘obvious’ questions - don’t be shy as they know what you’re going through!

Amelia Goodwin and Aberta Badoo are your graduate recruitment/trainee support team within HR. They are there for you if you have any problems either of a work or personal variety so please do keep them in mind should you need to talk!

Finally Edward Miller is your trainee partner - again he is here to support you during your training contract and he will also challenge you to deliver during the two years.
